MADRID – TOLEDO – CORDOBA – GRANADA – SEVILLE – MARRAKECH – RABAT – FEZ – SAHARA – ATLAS MOUNTAINS – MARRAKECH (14- 16 days)

This private two- week Spain- Morocco tour starts off with Madrid and its royal past, including the world famous Prado and Thyssen museums. After a day out in Toledo, a city that deems itself ‘of three cultures’ with its Visigoth, Roman, Islamic, Jewish and then Catholic past, we reach Granada, not before stopping for the day in Cordoba. At its height the city is said to have enclosed over 300 mosques and innumerable palaces and public buildings, rivalling the splendors of Constantinople, Damascus, and Baghdad. In Granada, the sublime Alhambra is but one of the jewels of the crown as we wander around Albayzin, take an Arab bath or try the tapas on Plaza Nueva. Next, Seville, the city of Carmen, Don Juan and Figaro, to not mention its splendid gardens or the largest cathedral in the world. We then leave the ‘Old World’ behind and after a short flight, land in Marrakech, Morocco where a culture shock together with a private 4x4 await you.
